There
are going to be held three advertising festivals (public service
advertising, interactive advertising and advertising in traditional
media) in the International Trade Centre on September 20-22 in 2010.
20th
of September – 10th Moscow Festival of Public Service Advertising
Attention!
All the “Public Service Advertising” nominations of Moscow
International Advertising Festival Red Apple are moved to the
competitive programme of Moscow Festival of Public Service
Advertising.
Works,
which the competitions of Moscow Festival of Public Service
Advertising deal with, are divided into two categories: implemented
projects and concepts of the project. In case of winning the works
from the category “implemented projects” will participate in the
rating of RACA (Russian Association of Communications Agencies).
Two
themes are offered for unimplemented projects: “The future of
Moscow depends on you” and “Healthy Russia” (under the
patronage of Ministry of Health Care and Social Development of the
Russian Federation).
There
also will be “The Fair of Vacancies” on September 20. It is
organized by the Committee for vocational education of RACA and aimed
at formation and development of the interactive system between
agencies and senior students of higher educational institutions who
want to undertake an internship in advertising agencies. The festival
will be concluded with the charity musical marathon – AdBand.

organizers of the festival are Moscow International Advertising and
Marketing Festival Red Apple (www.festival.ru) and The Interactive
Advertising Bureau (IAB) (www.iab.net).
MIXX
Conference www.mixx-expo.com and MIXX Awards www.mixx-awards.com are
a major international conference and an interactive advertising
awards competition which are held under the aegis of the
International Association IAB in a great number of countries. This
year Russia will join those countries which have already participated
in this event. In case of winning in the competition RedApple/MIXX
Awards Russian companies will have an opportunity to present their
projects at the competition MIXX Europe Awards 2011. Among famous
Russian media company leaders, interactive advertising agencies and
advertising companies highly acclaimed European thought leaders will
be invited as speakers at Red Apple MIXX Conference and as judges at
the competition RedApple/MIXX Awards. There are 20 nominations in the
competition. Not only traditional criteria such as creativity and
technical skills will be judged but also effectiveness of the
proposed solution and the result.
The
programme of the festival will not consist only of the competition
RedApple/MIXX Awards and the conference MIXX Conference. Several
scientific events are scheduled by the organizers of the interactive
advertising festival and by Association of Interactive Russian
Agencies (AIA).

Among
12 traditional competitions there are some new ones:
“Healthy
Russia”
It
is organized under the patronage of Ministry of Health Care and
Social Development of the Russian Federation. Only implemented
projects which popularize healthy life-style are allowed to
participate in the competition. Works should be of following
nominations: television and film advertising; print and outdoor
advertising (posters, billboards); advertising photography.
“For
People” award
The
award will be given to the company that broaches socially significant
subjects in its commercial advertising, and to the agency – the
developer of the advertising.
The
organizing committee of Moscow International Advertising and
Marketing Festival Red Apple announces new nominations in the
competition “Mediaproject”:

best use of television/cinema

best use of print media

best use of outdoor advertising

The
best use of combined media
Everybody
who uses media with an advertising purpose (advertising agencies,
advertisers, media agencies etc.) is able to participate in the
competition. All the media solutions have to be implemented from
August 2009.
Now
there are three nominations in the competition “Young creators”:
poster, video commercial and internet.
The
competition “Advertising photography” returned to the programme.
Entries
are admitted according two rules: a readymade advert (with a design
and logotypes) and a photograph with product or service advertising.
Those
authors for whom photography is one of the sources of income,
participants of nonstudent exhibitions and those who class themselves
as professionals are invited to go in for the competition.
There
also will be an exhibition “Advertising city” besides the
competitive and scientific programmes in the International Trade
Centre. Companies which have a long development history of their
brands and which are eager to share their long experience in
marketing are allowed to participate in the exhibition.
The
organizing committee promises that all the participants and guests of
the festival will be in a cheerful mood. For the first time a
competition “Advertising parody” will be held at the anniversary
festival. In this competition works which parody some product or
service in a good manner will be nominated. In “Advertising city”
cinemas there will be organized demonstrations of reel collections
which were made during last twenty years taken from the archives.
